This is just a quick post, since I'm going out of town for my dad's birthday this weekend, so I'm a tad short on time at the moment.
But my big had-to-share is that I managed to hold out an ENTIRE 24 HOURS between the airing of Thursday night's Supernatural episode and Friday evening, whenjumila came over to handhold watch it with me.*
*This is because (a) it is ALWAYS more fun to watch a show with someone and (b) I need someone for the intense episodes (which will be tough to predict since I'm trying *whimper* to be spoiler-free) tosmack me upside the head remind me it's just a show, dammit, don't get over-invested.
As I normally have the willpower of a wet noodle, this is very exciting and I am feeling quite pathetically proud of myself. I am, however, desperately relieved that we will be henceforth getting together on Thursday nights proper, so I don't have to test my self-control on a regular basis. Kripke vs. me? Yeah, I think we know who will win THAT mental cage match. :P
So I FINALLY GOT TO WATCH A NEW EPISODE WITH A REAL LIVE PERSON!!!! As someone who has wanted this since DAY ONE, I am beyond thrilled. *happy happy Supernatural dance of joy*
Oh, and as per that meme going around (When you see this post, quote Supernatural on your LJ):
Dad: I thought we saw eye-to-eye on this. Killing this demon comes first. Before me. Before everything.
Sam: No sir. Not before everything.
Also, new Heroes episode this week. Finally!
