Mar. 24th, 2008 07:30 amSooo. We just had a long weekend in these here parts, and I only managed to get my sorry ass online at an ungodly hour on Monday morning. Work today is going to be interesting.*
*Heh, and now I'm thinking of Serenity:
Mal: "Define 'interesting.' "
Wash: " 'Oh God, oh God, we're all going to die?' "
Okay, it's not THAT bad - I was thinking more " 'Oh God, oh God, how am I going to stay awake?!?!' "
Had a relaxing and reasonably productive weekend: spent aaall day yesterday watching Bleach (just finished the Soul Society arc, woohoo! Many thanks,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ecchs!) and cooking two soups. Yes, I do cook that slowly. *sigh* But they are good, and now I have yummy food! A curried-apple-carrot soup and one with cauliflower and walnuts that I'd thought I'd try again this time WITHOUT rancid milk, just for kicks. Tastes much better.
Saturday saw The Lookout, which I highly recommend, and spent time with ManifestStudio after running around doing errands, Friday featured a OMFGSOYUMMY brunch and a delightful afternoon talking with SexGeek and company (followed by an unexciting evening of work :P), and Thursday night I babysat for Mr. and Mrs. Mongolia withneeuqdrazil. SO. MUCH. FUN. Dude, I could not do that on a regular basis *insert general parental awe here* but it's wonderful on occasion. My only regret is that we didn't end up making a bedsheet fort. Next time!
