Rest-of-week roundup

Well, I've been holding out to post the picspam, but if I keep doing that y'all won't hear from me for quite a while! *g* Delighted to report the last few days have gone muuuch better, and all the tomatoes found good homes. And - I'm sure you'll be shocked - I've been busy!

Wednesday evening I went to a book launch for Graphic Witness, an amazing new graphic novel (that I promptly lent out - heh), met onci_dium for coffee and to pass off some tomatoes (note to self: lending/giving stuff away is a great way to meet people), Manifestudio came by my place for a bit, and on Thursday bassringer popped in for some tomatoes, and I spent a lovely dinner with Sexgeek who's in town. Friday evening was saved for neeuqdrazil, then did shopping and hung out with Twistedhip and Splink for dinner on Saturday. Read Deathly Hallows in a crazy all-night bender Saturday night, and Sunday was spent catching up over the phone with yet MORE folks, going to a workshop, and doing fun household stuff like cleaning and cooking.

Tonight: gaming, then tomorrow evening hang-out with Memethief and Jake, and later this week I hope to get together with eboniorchid and also see jaefru's play. The photos will get done eventually. I'M SURE.

Anyway, to make this post marginally less boring I thought I'd share my amusement at this new icon of Audrey's:

I laughed and laughed (what? the kid doesn't look to be in any discomfort) because I have what we lovingly refer to as "baby pelts" plastered all over my bathroom walls (click on image for a better look):

I originally bought them to give to friends when they started having kids, but they just look so cute on the walls I kept 'em. And someone came up with the "baby pelts" moniker and it just stuck, heh. :D
